Pennsylvania Farm Show

We spent the day at the 91st annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. It is a massive complex, all indoors, with food, animals, crafts, rodeos, horse pulls, and lots of other competitions with animals. We had to park far away and take a shuttle to the complex. It was actually a school bus and Dallas Jr. loved it. It was raining and the wipers were on so he had fun watching that. I had just been singing "The Wheels on the Bus" to him this morning so it was quite fitting to be on a bus with the wipers going, "swish, swish, swish"! Besides the bad smell and having to watch every step you took so you didn't land in something unpleasant, we had a nice time. Dallas Jr. loves people watching and there was plenty of that to do. I have to say the SC State Fair definatly took the cake on that though--much better people watching. Dallas Jr. had the perfect outfit to wear to the farm show. My great aunt from Texas sent it to him for Christmas and I was wondering when he could wear it. He fit right in with the cowboys and farmers. We saw cows, horses, chickens, ducks, alpacas, goats, rabbits, geese, bison, elk, and lots and lots of poo! Dallas Jr. and DaDa rode on the carosel and he didn't stop smiling the whole time. The only reason I put the picture of Dallas Jr. pulling my sweater off on the blog is because of the background. It is 880 pounds of butter sculpted into Ben Franklin and the Liberty Bell. Impressive huh!
