Visit with Will

We went to visit with Leslie and Will today. We had a really great time and appreciate Will letting Dallas play with all of his toys. They shared cheetos and Will even helped Dallas put his shoe back on when it fell off! Lee came over also and we were able to have some girl talk while the boys played. Thanks again for having us over Leslie!

Back in SC

We made it back to South Carolina late Friday night. Daddy Dallas and I spent part of Saturday at Doctor's Care. We both have sinus infections. I didn't feel too good all weekend but we are starting to feel better today. Dallas flew out this morning for Tennessee. He will be back Friday and then leaves Sunday for China and Australia. Little Dallas had a fun weekend seeing NaNa and Poppy and Uncle Whit. BeBe and PawPaw came to visit on Sunday and they had a fun visit also. Dallas likes to get in my old rocking chair and rock. He especially likes it when someone sits in the big rocking chair next to him and they rock together!

Fun in the Snow

Dada did not quite have the homecoming we were hoping for. He got home around 10:30 pm Friday night and Dallas was already sleeping. I started feeling bad and completely lost my voice. Saturday we spent several hours waiting to be seen at the Dr.'s office. Also Dallas took a spill off of the bench at the foot of our bed and split his lip. It was the first blood we have seen so far. It was more scary to us than him. His lip was swollen all day but is better already today. It started snowing this afternoon and we have been waiting for this since we moved here. It has finally gotton REALLY COLD and we feel like this is our official welcome to Yankee Land!

Can we call Dada?

Dada comes home tonight and we are so excited! It has been a long week but we've had lots of fun. Dallas has really missed his Dada and has been walking around saying it all week. He grabbed my phone last night after we talked to Dada on the speaker phone and he would not let it go. So cute!

Few more pics from Farm Show

Pennsylvania Farm Show

We spent the day at the 91st annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. It is a massive complex, all indoors, with food, animals, crafts, rodeos, horse pulls, and lots of other competitions with animals. We had to park far away and take a shuttle to the complex. It was actually a school bus and Dallas Jr. loved it. It was raining and the wipers were on so he had fun watching that. I had just been singing "The Wheels on the Bus" to him this morning so it was quite fitting to be on a bus with the wipers going, "swish, swish, swish"! Besides the bad smell and having to watch every step you took so you didn't land in something unpleasant, we had a nice time. Dallas Jr. loves people watching and there was plenty of that to do. I have to say the SC State Fair definatly took the cake on that though--much better people watching. Dallas Jr. had the perfect outfit to wear to the farm show. My great aunt from Texas sent it to him for Christmas and I was wondering when he could wear it. He fit right in with the cowboys and farmers. We saw cows, horses, chickens, ducks, alpacas, goats, rabbits, geese, bison, elk, and lots and lots of poo! Dallas Jr. and DaDa rode on the carosel and he didn't stop smiling the whole time. The only reason I put the picture of Dallas Jr. pulling my sweater off on the blog is because of the background. It is 880 pounds of butter sculpted into Ben Franklin and the Liberty Bell. Impressive huh!

Spike it Up!

Dallas had fun in his bath as usual and we had fun spiking his hair up. He put it right back down but we got one good picture. That was for you PawPaw!

Daddy's Home!

One of the best parts of Little Dallas' day is when Daddy comes home. I start to egg him on by saying, "Da Da", "where's Da Da?" He starts looking around and giggling. Then he hears the garage door open and starts off for the kitchen. When Da Da walks in Dallas gets so excited and justs laughs and gives him a hug. He is grinning from ear to ear (and so is DaDa!) It is so cute I decided to document it for all of you.

A Day in Hershey, PA

It was quite beautiful here today even though it was very windy. I think the temperature got up close to 65. We decided to take advantage of the good weather and go on a family excursion. Dallas started off his day with pancakes and cheese eggs. Although it was a slow start he quickly got going. We drove about an hour to Hershey, PA. Yes, the town really does smell like chocolate! We started at the zoo. Riverbanks Zoo it was NOT, but we still had a nice time. After the zoo, we went to World of Hershey. We went on a ride that takes you through how Milton Hershey got started and how they make the chocolate. It was quite fascinating and the singing cows were the highlight. Dallas was really into those.(Little Dallas liked them too:) Hope everyone else had a good day.
