I went to Charleston last Thursday for a "Girl's Weekend" and we had the BEST time! I dropped little Dallas off in
Greenville to stay with Bebe and PawPaw. Daddy Dallas was in Canada and got to
Greenville late Friday night. I went a day early so that I could visit with my dear friend, John
Brunty. He is a realtor in Charleston and has his own
faux painting business called Interior Interpretations. If anyone is interested in having some painting done, please check out his website at
http://www.interiorinterpretations.com/. We had a great time catching up, going out to Red Drum Restaurant, and watching reruns of Will and Grace! His house is gorgous(the homepage of his website is his house!) and I am so glad we were able to hang out. On Friday, I headed to the Francis Marion Hotel to check in and meet Lee and Reid. Lee and I headed to a spa right away for massages and took our time walking back ducking in and out of shops downtown. Reid arrived later and we met up to get all cute and go out! Yancey joined us at the restarant and I think he was really proud to be out with not just 1 but 3 girls! On Saturday we headed back to Mt.Pleasant to visit Kathryn Poe and Lisa Weeks clothing boutique, Mary Mojo. (Check it out at
http://www.marymojo.com/) I got the cutest dress and Reid got jewerly(made by Kathryn), a handbag, (made by Sally Peek), and a cute top. We had fun chatting and checking out their store-it looks awesome and they have some really cute stuff! Saturday night we went to eat at Mimi's Cafe on John's Island and then headed back downtown to go out. I have not mentioned that this weekend was the Cooper River Bridge Run and it was Crazy busy everywhere. The race ended right in front of our hotel so Reid and I had fun people watching while we ate breakfast Saturday morning. We ended up at the Music Farm to see a Gun's N Roses cover band. We had so much fun dancing, screaming out the lyrics and more people watching. It was such a great weekend and I want to thank John, Lee and Yancey for being such gracious hosts! Of course I would also like to say "thank you" to Bebe, PawPaw, and my wonderful husband for taking care of our little man so Mommy could have fun.
