Last Vacation of the Summer

We started our vacation with watching the Gamecocks beat Southern Miss. Little Dallas had a good time and filled up on lots of junk. We then went to Little River and spent a few days before heading to Duck, NC. We enjoyed another week in Duck with the Gatch Family over the Labor Day week. Dallas, Rowan and Aiden spent most of their time in the hot tub because the pool was pretty cold. They also spent alot of time playing their Leapsters! Some highlights of the trip include a "Mommy's Morning" where Virginia and I got massages and enjoyed a kid free lunch. While we were indulging ourselves the guys took the boys and Sterling to the Grave Digger Monster Truck headquarters in Kill Devil Hills. They had a great time and I have no pictures to show for it because they didn't take any! We spent our last evening on a sunset cruise where the boys were able to crab and fish. They all caught at least one and little Dallas caught the only one big enough to keep. We tried to get him to throw it back in so he could go back to his family but he really wanted to eat it, so we kept it and cooked him as soon as we got home that night. The boys had fun cracking it open and eating it while simultaneously eating ice cream cones!

We had a great time with everyone but it is really nice to be back home after all of the traveling!
