Happy Birthday Uncle Whit!

We are in Litchfield this week and we are having a great time. Little Dallas loves the pool more than the beach so we are spending lots of time there. (He says there are sharks and crabs at the beach.) We celebrated Uncle Whit's birthday yesterday and had an early party for little Dallas' birthday too. Uncle Whit was a good sport and didn't mind the Thomas and Friends theme party!

We took little Dallas to Maggie Valley, NC to go to Ghost Town in the Sky. It is a wild west theme park on top of a mountain. We rode a chair lift to the top and the view was spectacular other than it being hazy. Little Dallas rode on all of the kiddie rides including a roller coaster. He had so much fun. Unfortunatly, the train was broken so we could not ride it and I thought this was going to be a big deal since we had talked up the fact that there was a train the whole way there, but he was okay with it. He still got to climb on it and that seemed to be enough. He was asleep not 5 minutes after we left!

We are in Greenville for the weekend to visit Bebe and PawPaw and so I could attend a baby shower for my friend, Coleman Dixon. We had a great time and she looks so cute! We can't wait to meet baby girl Dixon at the end of August! While I was at the shower Bebe and PawPaw took little Dallas to eat lunch and to the toy store. What a surprise that he picked out something related to trains!!

Just wanted to say that we are still here! I have been a slack blogger lately but I hope to get some new pics up soon. We have been spending lots of time outside playing sports, going to the park and splashing in the kiddie pool. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
