We had a great vacation with the Gatch Family and the (Justin) Reeves Family in the Outer Banks. The weather was great. The ocean was very cold but that did not stop Dallas and Rowan from playing in it. We had a pool at our house and all the kids really enjoyed that. Sterling got in for the first time but only for a few minutes. She napped on the beach the times we took her there. All the kids, except Blake and Sterling, would take a bath together at the end of the day and then they would pile in bed after dinner and Virginia would read them books. We visited a lighthouse in Corolla and climbed 211 steps to get to the top. The view was really nice and little Dallas was proud of himself for making it up all those steps. Big Dallas carried an extra 15 pounds with Sterling in a carrier so he got a really good workout in! Enjoy the pictures. There will be lots more to come as we have several more beach trips this summer and then back to the same house in Duck with the Gatch's in September.
