It was quite beautiful here today even though it was very windy. I think the temperature got up close to 65. We decided to take advantage of the good weather and go on a family excursion. Dallas started off his day with pancakes and cheese eggs. Although it was a slow start he quickly got going. We drove about an hour to Hershey, PA. Yes, the town really does smell like chocolate! We started at the zoo. Riverbanks Zoo it was NOT, but we still had a nice time. After the zoo, we went to World of Hershey. We went on a ride that takes you through how Milton Hershey got started and how they make the chocolate. It was quite fascinating and the singing cows were the highlight. Dallas was really into those.(Little Dallas liked them too:) Hope everyone else had a good day.

For those of you paying close attention to Dallas' hair--you will notice I did cut it. There is a before/after from breakfast to the picture in the car. It is a little too short, but cutting a 17 month olds hair isn't too easy!
Singing cows--now that sounds like fun! The big question: did you get free chocolate bars? It looks like Dallas is having fun (little "D" too). Dallas, I think Mommy did a nice job with your hair cut--trust Nana that Mommy won't cut too much off!!
Love, Nana
What a good looking boy! But we already knew that--it's just that the haircut makes you look even more cute. I'm glad that you had a fun trip to see the singing cows. Too bad about the zoo, but at least the rest of the trip was fun for you.
Love,
Poppy
